INSTRUMENT: Trumpet

NUMBER OF YEARS WITH THE BAND: Too many to remember!

​

OTHER INSTRUMENTS: Dave majored in trumpet, euphonium and trombone, but can play every instrument to a degree.

​

MUSICAL BACKGROUND: Dave has degrees in Music Education from SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music and Columbia University. He taught at Nanuet High School for 37 years, instructing all levels and bands from 4th through 12th grades. He was the District's Director of Music, and also taught Choir, Show Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Orchestra and General Music classes

ENSEMBLE MEMBERSHIPS: In addition to the RCCB, Dave plays with Reflections Jazz Band, New Jersey Wind Symphony, and the Rockland Symphony.

FAVORITE THING ABOUT PLAYING WITH RCCB: Dave says, "I enjoy the people in the band, and the level of the repertoire."
